How does a reed diffuser work?

This really depends on a lot of things like how many reeds were utilized, the design of the vessel, and/or how much oil was used… So it can vary! They'll definitely last at least a month—but do, on average, have a life expectancy of two to five months.
Some things you can do to help your reed diffusers last longer are to reduce the number of reeds you use and flip the reeds less. Yes, I know these are both ways to really strengthen the delightful aromas. Though they can also run your fragrance oil out quickly.
