If you've got five-ish minutes, a limited emotional bandwidth, and super-tight muscles, I've got a damn treat for you. Surprise! It's a yoga video with the soothing moves of Phyllicia Bonanno, very talented yoga person (or yogi, if you want to be fancy about it) and the newest member of team SWEAT. The fitness app co-founded by Kayla Itsines is adding yoga and barre to their programming, and I'm very pleased by this.
I mean, yeah, building muscle and strength training are important, but who says that you have to do it with dumbbells, sets, and reps. Nah, you don't need all of that (unless you like it, and I feel that!)
In the video above, you'll get a sampling of Bonanno's six-week, equipment-free program, which features three vinyasa practices per week (ranging from 15 to 45 minutes) as well as two sessions of steady-state cardio (like walking or running).
Because we could all use a little zen (and Bonanno's ASMR-worthy voice) in our life, take the video above for a spin and then check her out on the SWEAT app. Sending you stretchy vibes.
