If you clicked on this article, chances are you’re either (a) getting married, (b) the good friend of someone who is getting married, or (c) dreaming about the day you get to fall under either a or b. No matter which of the three you are (no judgment here, c crew), I respect you and your research skills.

I love that you’re not afraid to put in a little time to make sure that you find the *perfect* place to host the bachelorette party of all bachelorette parties, ensuring that your/your friend’s send-off from singledom isn’t lame as hell. And, good news, you’ve come to the right place.

I'm sure you're well aware that it’s all about location, location, location (no, I’m not your realtor) when it comes to a pre-nuptial girls’ getaway. That’s why I did the research for you and rounded up 20 of the best bachelorette party destinations across the country (and a couple that are just a hop, skip, and a jump away!) to visit for a gosh darn dreamy bach party that might just rival the wedding itself (but don't tell the wedding planner, they'll get jealous). And because I know every bride has a different vibe, I categorized them all based on what you and your crew are into, whether that be the outdoors, hot climates, getting tipsy, or all of the above. Variety is important!

Honestly, I’m excited for you. You deserve this, whether you're an exhausted bride or a hyped-up maid of honor. Take a gander, alert the group chat, and maybe download Splitwise while you’re at it. It's time to hit the town.

(Psst: Once you’ve picked your location, head over to our list of bachelorette party themes to take care of the rest of the event. Seriously, where would you be without us?)

1

For the bride that deserves to feel like royalty

Between the royal palaces, gorgeous architecture, afternoon teas, and fahn-cy accents, it's hard not to feel like a queen when traveling through London, England. It may require updating your passport, but I promise this pretty city is worth the hassle. No matter your interests—history, art, fashion, heavy drinking—your girl group will never be short on things to do and see, and you can take ~the tube~ between all the attractions. If you're going to splurge on anything, make it your accommodations—London is big, and you'll want to be in the heart of the action. Personally, I'm obsessed with the London Marriott Hotel County Hall, which is steps away from both the London Eye and Big Ben. Get yourself a room with a balcony and your alfresco breakfast-turned-IG photoshoot session will be unmatched.

2

For the rosé all day-er

Sonoma, California, is *the* go-to destination for wine lovers. Just ask Hallie and Annie from The Parent Trap, people!! Seriously though, there are more than 400 wineries in Sonoma, which makes it the perfect destination for a weekend of drinking and reminiscing on the good ol’ days before everyone started being adults and getting married. Plus, you can also find a bunch of hotels on vineyard properties in Sonoma, so the farthest you’ll have to wander to find a bottle of wine is downstairs.

3

For the bride on a budget

San Antonio, Texas, may not be the first city in the Lone Star State that comes to mind when you think of a girls' trip (ahem, Austin), but I’m here to tell you to put it on your list—especially if your wedding wallet has been hurtin’ as of late. This underrated city is budget-friendly for so many reasons: Not only are the accommodations, food, and drinks cheap, but there are also so many free things to do to pass the time. You could probably spend an entire trip just strolling around the famed river walk—which has incredible restaurants and live music—but don’t sleep on the nearby Alamo or San Pedro Creek Culture Park. Photoshoots *will* abound.

4

For the spa lover

The Rancho Valencia Spa & Resort in Rancho Santa Fe, California, is the perfect place to chill. The Valencia’s Stay & Play Spa package is ideal for a combination of relaxing at the spa and roaming the property with your crew. Plus, Rancho Santa Fe is outside of San Diego, so you can sneak off for some city fun while you're there too. TL;DR: It’s the best of both worlds.

5

For the girl who can’t deny that New England charm

Grab your gauzy white button-down—the girls are headed to Newport, Rhode Island. This historic city is everything good about the East Coast: The beach is nearby, the seafood is to die for, and the nautical-chic style makes everything feel extra classy. Must-dos include a trip to The Breakers, a hike around the Cliff Walk, slurping up a bowl of clam chowder on any patio by Bowen’s Wharf, and sipping on a glass of wine while overlooking at the water at Castle Hill Inn. You should also probably charter a sailboat so you can get some shots in that white bikini. Duh.

6

For the party girl

There are lots of places to party, but few have as much to offer as New Orleans does. NOLA is so much more than just a city with no open-container law (although that is great)—it has amazing architecture, French food, ghost tours, historic cathedrals, and beignets everywhere. Schedule the bachelorette party for Mardi Gras if you’re really trying to get the most (and do the most) out of the location.

For the girl who likes a little bit of everything

Charleston, South Carolina, can give you both a city and a beach getaway. You can spend one day of the trip exploring the historic sites of the town, while the next day can be dedicated to soaking up some sun on one of the surrounding beaches. All that, and the food and nightlife scenes are *chef’s kiss*!

8

For the honky-tonk girl

Yeah, Nashville is literally the most popular bachelorette destination in America, but for good reason! There’s a party every night of the week in Nashville thanks to the booming honky-tonk culture. There’s no shortage of bars, live music, or southern food to try. It’s ideal for a group that wants nonstop action.

9

For the snow bunny

If you’re in the mood for a wintery getaway, look no further than Park City, Utah, aka the home of the Sundance Film Festival. You can hit the slopes, feast in a lodge, and relax with your crew in a rented house. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for somewhere that will give you quality time with the girls. And spiked hot cocoa.

10

For the bad and bougie

I can think of few places better for partying than Miami. There’s no shortage of beaches, pools, bars, clubs, or good food to try. You can spend one day chilling on a boat, spend another lounging by the pool, and dedicate your evenings to bar hopping. And you can go year-round since it’s pretty much always warm there. Wins all around.

11

For the bride who likes to go, go, go

Asheville, North Carolina, is a perf bachelorette destination if you’re looking for a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. You can go hiking in the area’s mountains, check out some funky breweries, and even go on a pedal pub tour. There are also a lot of cool art galleries and bookstores in the area, so you can really immerse yourself in the local culture.

12

For the girl who loves spooky szn

Savannah, Georgia, is yet another ideal bachelorette location thanks to its lack of open-container laws. You can sip on a margarita while you walk by the water or go on ghost tour. Let me repeat: a! ghost! tour! To get the most out of Savannah, I recommend heading there for a St. Patty’s bachelorette. The city dyes its river green, and it transforms the town into a weekend-long party. It’ll be like the whole city is celebrating your bride.

For the girl who’s always cold

Sure, everyone you know from high school may be doing their bach in Scottsdale, Arizona, these days, but we've got another city you should consider visiting in the southwest state. Sedona (yes, another 'S' city!) can give you a glamping/road-trip bachelorette party, complete with stunning views of the Arizona desert. Fly into Phoenix, rent a car, stop at In-N-Out for food on the road, and eventually arrive in Sedona for a weekend of hiking and soaking up the natural surroundings. There are a ton of houses to rent if you want an Airbnb with a pool situation, as well as campgrounds and hotels in the area. It’ll get you off the grid, which I’m pretty sure is the goal of any stressed-out bride.

14

For the girl who wants to do everything

The city that never sleeps is more than ready to take on a bachelorette party. New York City is full of food-porn-y restaurants, vibe-y rooftop bars, and highly Instagrammable locations like The Plaza or Central Park, ideal for a girl gang photo op. There are literally thousands of places you could go during a bach weekend in NYC, but take a tip from this New Yorker: Head to Beauty Bar as at least one of your bar-hopping spots. You can get a drink and manicure for $10, and the back has a dance floor that plays exclusively throwback hits. You can thank me later.

15

For the laid-back bride

Cape Cod, Massachusetts, can give you a twist on the classic beach bachelorette weekend. Rent a house, soak up the sun, and go the extra mile by doing some sailing. You can eat all the seafood you want, and bond with your bridal crew through quality time rather than hitting the bars. Need I say more?

For the bride who wants a little magic

Um, yeah, OF COURSE Disney World made it on this list. First of all, it's inherently exciting because of the rides and characters, so it’s an ideal partying environment. But Epcot is what makes it worth the trip. You can go on a drinking tour of the world in one safe, contained area with the added bonus of seeing some of your favorite characters along the way. You can also make a stop at Universal Studios, which...why wouldn’t you?!

17

For the foodie

Austin, Texas, is an ideal location for a city-oriented bachelorette. The home of the weird has fun food trucks, live music, pedal tours, and abundant shopping, so you can have a classic girls’ trip. And if you go in the summer, def stay at a hotel with a pool so you can soak up that Texas heat. You’ll be glad you did.

18

For the world traveler

Jetting away to San Juan, Puerto Rico, will make you feel like you’re a world away for your bachelorette weekend. There are a bunch of all-inclusive resorts for you to choose from on the island, and you can enjoy hands-on activities like snorkeling or ziplining with your girls. At night, you can chill at your resort, or head out to the local clubs for a more immersive getaway.

For the bride who watched ‘Bridesmaids’ on repeat

Would it really be a list of bachelorette destinations if Las Vegas wasn't on it?? Now, before you roll your eyes and write it off as being too overdone, hear me out. Vegas isn’t just fun because of the gambling and strip clubs—although those ARE major perks. The city also has a ton of luxury hotels, a hoppin’ club scene, live music everywhere, and so many bottomless brunch spots it’ll make your head spin. The bottom line is that ideally you only do your bachelorette once, so why not do it in the wildest place imaginable?!

20

For the beach bum

Of the warm weather destinations, Palm Springs, California, is probably the best city/beach town combination on this list. The sunny town has the finest of everything: luxury hotels, bougie shopping, fancy spas, and cool clubs. But you could also just rent a house with a pool and keep to yourselves for your stay. You can make what you want of Palm Springs, which is kind of ideal for a bachelorette party, tbh.
