You're literally never too old for these.

Let's travel back in time to the early 2000s: Netflix is a service that sends DVDs in the mail, computers are desktops and attached to all sorts of wires, Razrs are the coolest phones on the market. You're lounging in bed but not quite ready to go to sleep. Instead of aimlessly scrolling Instagram or bingeing an entire TV show on your laptop, you open a book and flip through to find your dog-eared page (which would be <<horrifique>> if the librarian ever found out).

For all you Gen Z'ers out there who can't imagine life without a screen that makes everything and anything instantly available: Yes, this is really what every teen back in the day spent their childhood nights doing―reading a physical book. And let us just say, it was awesome. Nothing compares to the feeling you get when you're so engrossed in a book you can't put it down. Is there anything better than reading something that transports you to another world, another life, another realm, an alternate universe? Seriously, people, the power of words is incredible!!

Sometimes we all need to get back to the basics (read: take a break from technology) and channel the days of our youth with some good ol' young adult novels. After all, stories about identity, love, friendship, and growing up are universal experiences, no matter your age, so go on and give your reading list a revamp with the best YA books of all time.
