ICYMI, Lindsay Lohan is officially a mom! According to People and Page Six, the actor gave birth to a baby boy named Luai Shammas—which means “shield or protector” in Arabic—in Dubai.
A rep for Lindsay who spoke with the publication gushed, “The family is over the moon in love.” Lindsay, who married husband Bader Shammas last year, first announced she was pregnant back in March 2023 when she shared the major news via an Instagram post that featured an image of a tiny little onesie with the words “coming soon…” over it. “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼,” she wrote in the caption.
Just a month later, the celeb shared a carousel of images alongside the words, “Good times. ☺️🤰 So grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life! ❤️😊”
In the subsequent months, Lindsay continued to share her excitement about becoming a parent with her fans. And she wasn’t the only one—Lindsay’s mom, Dina Lohan, also reflected on how excited she was about the birth of the bb.
“She’s been trying and then it happened, that little stick came up positive,” Dina dished to People in a March 2023 interview. “It’s the right time for her, and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they’re just so happy. They’re just really happy and ready.”
Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, posted his own celebratory musing on Instagram, writing, “THE CAT’S OUT OF THE BAG! HER BEST ROLE YET! MOMMY!!! God bless her and Bader,” on his account.
